The Men's Volleyball World Championship will be held in the Philippines from September 12 to 28. 32 national teams will participate, divided into 8 groups of four teams each.

The 2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship is a major sporting event that brings together the best national teams from around the world. This edition, in this format, is special because new rules have been introduced (more teams and playing every two years). The competition is an important indicator of the strength of national teams, the global development of the sport, as well as an opportunity for players to show their best on the international stage.
For the first time in history, the competition is being held in the Philippines, and all matches will be played in two cities: Pasay City and Quezon City, and two large halls will be used: Smart Araneta Coliseum and SM Mall of Asia Arena. As mentioned, 32 teams from five confederations will compete, an increase from previous championships.
The tournament hosts, the Philippines, will open the competition at 1 p.m. and play Tunisia. In addition to these two teams, Group A also includes Iran and Egypt.
Group B consists of Romania, Poland, the Netherlands and Qatar.
Group C includes France, Finland, Argentina and South Korea.
Group D includes Portugal, the USA, Cuba and Colombia.
Group E includes Bulgaria, Germany, Slovenia and Chile.
Group F consists of Belgium, Italy, Algeria and Ukraine.
Turkey, Japan, Canada and Libya are in Group G.
And the final group, H, consists of Serbia, the Czech Republic, Brazil and China.
Brazil and Poland stand out as favorites to win this championship. Italy should also be included here, which is the current ruler of Europe, and there are several strong teams that could cause a surprise.
Of the countries from the region, only Serbia will participate, and the chances of passing the group are good, and after that every game will depend on the chemistry in the team and the opponent on the other side.
