Last season's Conference League champion, Chelsea, advanced to the semi-finals with a 2-1 victory over Palmeiras in the quarter-finals. Their opponent will be another Brazilian team, Fluminense. The only defeat in this championship, the "blues" suffered at the hands of today's bitter enemy, Flamengo. Since then, Chelsea have recorded three victories, including against Benfica in extra time. They are approaching this duel with a lot of confidence, which on paper does not seem too difficult, but on the pitch it will be a different story. Fluminense have conceded just three goals in this tournament. They are known for their solid defense and will certainly be looking for a counter-attacking opportunity tonight. They are currently on an 11-game unbeaten run, winning eight of those games. We will find out tonight whether that streak continues. The match will be played at the MetLife Stadium, and one of the best referees at the moment, Frenchman Letexis, will officiate.

For all football fans, tomorrow's semi-final match will be a real treat. Last season's triple crown winner and current European champion, PSG, will play Real Madrid. This will be a real blockbuster match and great football is expected. PSG have won four of their last five games in this competition, with their only defeat coming against Botafogo in the group stage. They beat Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals and, for all they have shown, are deservedly the slight favourites to win. Madrid, on the other hand, have drawn just once in this competition and have since won a string of games, against Pachuca, Salzburg, Juventus and Dortmund, and they seem to be in excellent form. Real Madrid's players also have a special motivation in this competition, as if they win the championship, each player will receive a bonus of one million euros. Matches between these two teams are usually high-scoring and we hope that will be the case this time too. The referee will be Simon Marcinak, and this match will also be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
