The mixed doubles competition will be held during the qualifying week for the main singles tournament, namely August 19th and 20th. We will follow these matches on the most prestigious and largest courts – Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong. Today, the first and second round matches are on the program, while tomorrow we will expect the semi-final matches and the most important, the final.
Instead of standard sets, the match will be played in two sets of four sets, up to 4 games, with a tiebreak up to 10 points instead of the third set. Also, if the score in the game is 40-40, or "deuce", a so-called "sudden death" point will be played, i.e. the game will be won by the pair that wins the next point when the score is 40-40. The final itself will be played in six games of five sets.
The tournament will bring together 16 pairs, eight based on the overall ranking in the ATP and WTA lists, while another eight teams have received special invitations.
Pairs by rank:
Janik Siner/Katerina Siniakova
Casper Rudd/Iga Sviontek
Taylor Fritz/Elena Rybakina
Holger Rune/Amanda Anisimova
Alexander Zverev/Belinda Bencic
Daniel Medvedev/Mira Andreeva
Jake Draper/Jessica Pegula
Gael Monfils/Naomi Osaka
Special invitations were given to:
Carlos Alcaraz/Emma Raducanu
Frances Tiafoe/Madison Keys
Novak Djokovic/Olga Danilovic
Ben Selton/Taylor Townsend
Andreas Vavassori/Sarah Errani
Riley Opelka/Venus Williams

The organizers decided to increase the financial portion of the mixed pairs, and this portion has never been higher.
Quarterfinalists will receive $100,000, semifinalists $200,000, finalists $400,000, while the winners will take home $1 million.
The top-notch tennis and even better fun can begin.
