As every summer, in the break between games, and until a new battle for titles begins, the most interesting thing is to follow the summer transfers. The "football market" was extremely interesting this summer, clubs spent a lot, and some very interesting transfers were seen all over Europe. Officially, as of yesterday, the summer transfers are over, and in this text you can read a summary of everything that happened during the summer break.

Let's start with the most expensive transfers.. They usually happen in England, and that's the case this time too. The saga surrounding Isaac and his departure from Newcastle lasted from the end of last season until yesterday. He wanted to go to Liverpool at all costs, and he refused to train with the club, which caused anger among some fans, because he did not respect the club that gave him a chance in the Premier League. After 3 years at Newcastle, during which he scored 54 goals and recorded 10 assists in 86 games, the third most expensive transfer in football history was made. The Swede moved to Liverpool for 144 million euros, signed a contract until June 2031, and was given the number 9 shirt. There is no doubt that he will be a key player for Liverpool in their quest for new trophies, and Isak himself is very pleased with this transfer, so he will approach his new duties with a lot of motivation. Bayer Leverkusen was left without the coach who brought them the "salad maker" this summer, and without several key players. And the most important of them, Florian Wirtz, is also a new Liverpool reinforcement. In 140 Bundesliga games, he scored 35 goals and 47 assists, and was the leader of the team that won the German championship the year before last. The German international signed a contract until 2030, and the transfer is worth 125 million euros.
And the third most expensive summer transfer is the work of Liverpool. Hugo Ekitike came from Eintracht Frankfurt for 95 million euros, and is expected to continue the excellent games he had last season. In Frankfurt, he scored 26 goals and recorded 14 assists in 64 appearances. He will stay at Liverpool until 2031, and in three games this season for his new club he scored 2 goals and recorded one assist, which shows that this is likely to be a great investment.
We are still in England, and Newcastle again. As a replacement for Isaac, Nick Voltemade arrived from Stuttgart in a transfer worth 85 million euros. The striker is similar to Isaac, standing 198 cm tall, so it is clear that the “Magpies” will force the same style as last season. In 70 appearances in the Bundesliga, he scored 14 goals and had 3 assists. The young German is still waiting for his debut in England, but that will happen after the international break. Manchester United have made a reconstruction in attack, and the biggest reinforcement is the arrival of Benjamin Cesc from Leipzig. The Slovenian signed a contract until 2030, and was paid 76.5 million euros. In Leipzig, he scored 39 goals and recorded 8 assists in 87 games. For the "devils" so far, he has recorded 80 minutes, without a goal and an assist. Brandford's right winger, and one of the best players of this type last season, Brian Mbuemo, has also become a new member of Manchester United. He played a total of 242 games for Brandfrod, with 70 goals and 51 assists. The Cameroonian was paid 75 million euros, and the contract is until 2030. In the United jersey this season, he recorded three appearances and one goal. Finally, a transfer outside the Premier League. Galatasaray have bought out Victor Osimhen's contract, who played brilliantly last year and convinced the leaders of the Turkish giant to bring him to their ranks for 75 million euros, the same amount that went to Napoli. The Nigerian has played a total of 44 games and scored a brilliant 39 goals, with 8 assists. We are back at Old Trafford. Manchester United have bought Mateusz Cunha from Wolverhampton for 74.2 million euros. The Brazilian international has been given the number 10 shirt and expectations are high from him this season in the "devil's" camp. Cunha has played 92 games for Wolverhampton and scored 33 goals and 15 assists, while in four games this season for Manchester he has failed to score. One of the most significant reinforcements of this summer is the transfer of Luis Diaz from Liverpool to Bayern Munich. The Germans paid around 70 million euros for this transfer, securing the Colombian for the next four years in their ranks. After a stellar season for Liverpool, Diaz has really started to repay the Germans. In four games this season, he has already scored 3 goals and registered 2 assists.

Last on this list is former Real Sociedad player Martin Zubimendi. The Real Sociedad academy player, who has played 236 games for the Spanish team, scoring 10 goals and providing 9 assists, has already made three appearances for Arsenal and will be a significant addition to the midfield. The Gunners paid €70 million for the signing, and the Spaniard will remain in London until 2030.

Slightly cheaper, but perhaps even more interesting, transfers have been seen across Europe in the past month. Arsenal brought in Eze from Crystal Palace for €69.3 million, as well as the great Victor Gyokeres from Sporting for 65.8 million. Madueke, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Norgaard, Hinkape also arrived.. serious reinforcements for the contender for the Premier League title.
Aston Villa brought in Lindelof, whose contract expired, Sancho from United and Harvey Elliott from Liverpool arrived on loan, while Philippe Coutinho returned to the team from loan.
Chelsea also spent a lot. Joao Pedro, Gittens, Garnacho, Delap arrived at the club, but a lot of players left. Madueke, Nkunku, Djordje Petrovic, Joao Felix who signed for Al-Nasr left the club..
Manchester City received Reynders from Milan, Ait-Nouri from Wolves, Cherki from Lyon, and perhaps the biggest reinforcement is the arrival of the great Donnarumma from PSG, who will be the first goalkeeper, after Ederson left for Fenerbahce.
Tottenham have brought in Xavi Simmons, Kudos and Tell as the most significant signings. The best player of recent seasons, Son, left the club and signed for Los Angeles in a transfer worth 22 million euros. Barcelona did not spend much this summer. The most significant signing is the arrival of Rashford on loan, as well as the purchase of goalkeeper Garcia from Epsan. On the other hand, Real Madrid brought in several significant signings. Huijsen arrived from Bournemouth, Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, Mastantuono from River Plate and for these three transfers they spent around 120 million euros. In addition to Diaz, the Bavarians also brought in Nicholas Jackson on loan, and one of the more significant signings was Jonathan Tah. Tell was sold to Tottenham for 35 million, while Coman went to Al-Nasr for 25 million euros.

It is well known that players in their later years, at least those who still want to play in Europe, are happy to go to Italy, and this was the case this summer. Serie A is stronger for Luka Modrić, who left Real Madrid after more than a decade to join Milan. Then the great Kevin De Bruyne, who is the new player of the champions Napoli. Akanji moved from City to Inter on loan. Nemanja Matić moved to Sassuolo. It is also known that the English players are not good at signing new players, but the famous Jamie Vardy will open a new chapter in the jersey of the returnee from Cremonese. The contract was signed for a year, and Vardy arrived without compensation.

From this point of view, it is worth mentioning the departure of eighteen-year-old defender Veljko Milosavljević, who left Red Star in a record transfer for this club. Star sold Veljko to Bournemouth for 15 million euros. After 27 games for the red and whites, this guy has shown great potential, and he will continue his career in the Premier League, no less. The contract is signed until 2030.

This is just a small part of the summer market, because it would take us a lot of time to write about all the transfers, but we have selected for you the most expensive and the most winter. It will be even more interesting to see these players off to new clubs in the season ahead, and we will follow them together.
