In the first match of the 35th Round, Manchester City won over Wolverhampton with De Bruyne's goal, I scored three very valuable points in the race for the Champions League. "Citizens" are now third in the table, only three points less than Arsenal, who lost at home to Bournemouth this weekend, in the end 2:1 for the guests, but the fans of the "gunners" will forgive this defeat because tomorrow they will face the most important match in the last 20 years, the second leg of the semi-finals of the Champions League. A minimal but very important victory was also achieved by the Aston Ville players, who defeated Fulham on their own ground with a goal by Tielmans. In the derby, the tables are fixed, i.e. of the new and old participants of the Championship, Leicester defeated Southampton 2:0 as the host. Four draws were seen in this round. Three of those duels ended 1:1 each, in the mini-London derby between West Ham and Tottenham, then in the match between Brighton and Newcastle, and the visitors came in the 89th minute from a penalty, as well as in the duel between Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest. Another draw, 2:2, was seen in Liverpool at the duel between Everton and Ipswich, although the home team took a 2:0 lead. However, the most goals, as many as seven, were scored in the match between Brandford and Manchester United, which the home team won 4:3, but the "devils" have only the return match of the Europa League semifinals in mind. In the derby of the round, Chelsea defeated the champion team Liverpool with 3:1 on their field, and thus came significantly closer to the fight for the Champions League.
Liverpool is first, Arsenal is second with only three points more than Manchester City, which has 64. Then follow Newcastle and Chelsea with 63 points each, then Nottingham Forest with 61 and Aston Villa with 60.
With a draw in Freiburg, where the home team met Bayer Leverkusen, the match ended 2:2, the new Bundesliga champion is Bayern Munich. Bayern played 3:3 away from Leipzig, I was within reach of the title because after 0:2 they reversed to 3:2, but Poulsen brought a point to Leipzig with a goal in the 95th minute and postponed the official champion for this season. In addition to these two nersen matches, four more draws were seen. There were no goals in the duel between Heidenheim and Bochum, then Mainz and Frankfurt played 1:1, Union Berlin and Werder Bremen 2:2, and the match between Borussia Mechengladbach and Hoffenheim saw as many as eight goals and in the end even 4:4 in a match full of twists and turns. The home team was 2:0 in the 32nd minute, but before the end of the first half, Hoffenheim equalized, and at the beginning of the second half, it was 2:2. Just ten minutes later, the home team took the lead again, which lasted for nine minutes, when they again reached an equaliser, and in the 81st minute they achieved a turnaround. However, a rescue and a point for the home team was brought by Kleindenst with a goal in the 91st minute. Stugart took all three points from Hamburg with a minimal victory against St. Pauli, and the home team ended the match with even two players less. As a guest, Kiel defeated Augsburg 3:1, and the most convincing players in this round were the players of Borussia Dortmund, who defeated Wolfsburg 4:0 on their home field with two goals each from Zirasi and Adeyemi.
Bayern won a new title with two rounds to go, I have 76 points. Bayer Leverkusen is in second place with 68 points. Frankfurt stands well in third position with 56 points, and a fierce battle will be fought for fourth place, where Freiburg is currently with 52 points, one less than Borussia Dortmund, and one less than Leipzig.
The weekend in Italy went by with only 19 goals in 10 games, I even saw five 1:0 wins. The minimum victory was achieved by Como away from Parma, then Napoli in Lecce, they got a little closer to the 'Scudetto', Inter at home against Veronese, Lazio away against Empolia, and both teams ended the match with one less player, as did Roma who defeated Fiorentina at the Olympia. Turin and Venice shared the points in a 1:1 draw, as did Bologna and Juventus, in the fight for fourth place. As a guest, Udinese defeated Cagliari 2:1, as did Milan Dejanova, with the same score, after a reversal. The most convincing in this round was Atalanta, who won 4:0 away from Monza, with two goals from De Katelaro.
Three rounds before the end, Napoli has 77 points, while Inter has 74. Atalanta is safe in third place with 68 points, while the fight for fourth place will be very interesting and uncertain. Currently, Juventus is there with 63 points, the same as Roma and Lazio, while Bologna, in seventh place, has only one point less.
We had an interesting weekend in the Spanish La Liga. Except for the red Alaves-Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad-Atletico Bilbao, which ended without goals, as well as in the test of Rayo Vallecano, who celebrated the card of the guests with a minimum score, Girona and Mallorca, where the home team also celebrated with a minimum score, there were hundreds of goals. Villarreal defeated Osasuna at home with 4:2, with two goals from Perez. Valencia beat Las Palmas 3:2 away with two goals from Hugo Dur. Barça was losing to last-placed Valladolid until the 54th minute, and then they routinely scored two goals and turned it around for a 2:1 victory. Real Madrid led with 3:0, and in the end won against Celta Vigo with 3:2, with two more goals from Mbappe. Sevilla and Leganes shared the points in a 2:2 draw, and Betis beat Espanyol away with 2:1, after a turnaround, with goals in the 85th and 91st minutes.
Barcelona is still first with 79 points, while Real Madrid has four less. Atletico Madrid has 67, Athletic Bilbao 61, while Villarreal in fifth place has 58 points, one more than Betis. Valladolid has dropped out a lot, I have only 16 points, and a frantic fight for survival of the leader Leganes, Las Palmas and Alaves, although Sevilla, Girona, Espanyol and Getafe will not be allowed to relax too much, because there are still four rounds to go.
It was also interesting in the French League 1, although not many goals were scored. Nice, Brest and Angers each defeated Reims, Montpellier and Nantes 1:0. Strasbourg took a big step towards European competitions by beating PSG at home with 2:1. The same result was celebrated by Toulouse over Rennes, as well as by Lance, who surprised Lyon away from home. Monaco won 3:1 against St. Etienne away as Le Havre defeated Auxerre with 2:1, also as a guest. The only draw in this round was seen in the derby match between Lille and Marseille, which ended 1:1.
PSG remained at 78 points, while Marseille is second again with 59, then a point less is Monaco and Nice, Lille and Strasbourg have 57 each, and there is a fierce battle for the two places that lead directly to the Champions League. Montpellier was eliminated, and in the last two rounds St. Etienne, Le Havre, and Nantes will fight fiercely for survival.
