One of the biggest Turkish clubs seems to have high ambitions. Spanish Betis should also be mentioned. The green and whites are returning to the Champions League after 21 years. Betis has a very good, experienced squad led by captain Isco. Last weekend, they defeated Real Madrid on their field and announced that they will be competitors in La Liga this year, and whether it will be the same in the Champions League remains to be seen.
The prize fund this season amounts to slightly less than 2.5 billion euros. Each club that reached the league stage received a little less than 19 million euros.
